Terms of use

About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Brightmore Group Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17530117), at 8 Acres Brook Drive, Hollingworth, Hyde, SK14 8BF. They cover the Track GLP app and the optional Track Plus subscription. By creating an account you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

A diary, not medical advice

Track GLP helps you record and understand your treatment. It does not diagnose, treat or prescribe, and it doesn't tell you what dose to take or when to change it. Always follow your prescriber and the leaflet that comes with your medicine. Guidance in the app is general information, not advice about your own health.

If you feel seriously unwell, call 999, or 111 for urgent advice. Don't rely on the app or its reminders in an emergency.

Reminders depend on your phone's settings, battery and notifications, so they might not always arrive. You're responsible for taking your medicine as prescribed. Numbers in the app, such as BMI, are rough guides worked out from what you log.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or over and live in the UK. Track GLP is for your personal use only.

Your account

Use your real email address and keep your password safe. Tell us straight away at support@brightmoregroup.co.uk if you think someone else has used your account. You're responsible for what's done with your account.

Track Plus

The core diary is free. Track Plus is an optional upgrade, bought in the app through Apple's App Store:

  • Monthly: £6.99 a month, with a 1-week free trial.
  • Yearly: £39.99 a year, with a 1-week free trial.
  • Lifetime: £99.99, paid once, no trial. It lasts for as long as we provide Track GLP.

Prices include VAT and are shown in the app before you buy. They may change in future; Apple will tell you before a change affects your subscription.

Free trial and renewal. One free trial per person. When the free week ends, your subscription starts and you're charged automatically, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Subscriptions then renew automatically at the same length and price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple takes payment from your Apple ID.

Cancelling. Cancel any time in your iPhone's Settings › your name › Subscriptions. You keep Track Plus until the end of the period you've paid for. Deleting the app or your account doesn't cancel the subscription on its own, so please cancel it with Apple as well.

Refunds. Apple handles payments, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. When you buy, you ask for Track Plus to start straight away, and you agree that this means you lose your 14-day right to cancel under UK consumer law once it has started. This doesn't affect your other legal rights.

If Track Plus doesn't work as described, tell us and we'll do our best to put it right.

Using the app fairly

Please don't misuse Track GLP. That means not trying to get into other people's accounts or our systems, not copying, reverse-engineering or reselling the app, not interfering with how it works, and not using it for anything unlawful.

Your content and ours

What you log is yours. You let us store and use it only to run Track GLP for you, as our privacy policy explains. The app, its design, words and the Track GLP name and logo belong to Brightmore Group Ltd.

Track GLP isn't affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by any medicine maker, the NHS or any pharmacy. Medicine names belong to their owners.

Changes and availability

We keep improving Track GLP, so features may change. We'll try to keep it running smoothly, but it may sometimes be unavailable, for example for updates. If we make important changes to these terms, we'll tell you in the app or by email first. If we ever stop providing Track GLP, we'll give you reasonable notice so you can download your data.

Our responsibility to you

We provide Track GLP with reasonable care and skill. We're not responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, that were caused by something outside our control, or that come from relying on the app instead of your prescriber's advice. Because Track GLP is for personal use, we're not responsible for any business losses.

Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't let us limit, and nothing affects your legal rights as a consumer.

Ending

You can stop using Track GLP and delete your account at any time (Settings › Account › Delete my account). We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and we'll tell you why unless the law stops us.

Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for Track GLP, its support or any claims about it, and has no duty to maintain or support it. If the app doesn't work as described, you can tell Apple, who may refund the price you paid for it; beyond that Apple has no other warranty responsibility. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. You confirm you're not in a country under a US government embargo and not on a US government list of restricted parties.

The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If there's a dispute, you can bring it in the courts of England and Wales, or of Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there. Please talk to us first, as most things can be put right quickly.
